Smithfield Area Chevrolet Shoppers Take A Look At
The 2019 Chevy Spark
Buyers looking for a subcompact two-door car that’s perfect for negotiating the tight spaces encountered in city driving should take a look at the 2019 Chevrolet Spark. The Spark’s small footprint makes it easy to maneuver around the city, but it’s also great for highway driving. The Spark comes with a touchscreen infotainment system that features Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and there’s a wide array of standard and optional features. These are just some of the reasons customers choose the 2019 Chevrolet Spark at dealerships like the Smithfield Chevrolet dealer.
According to the Chevrolet dealer near Smithfield, for 2019, Chevrolet updated the front styling on all Spark trim levels to match changes the automaker made to other models. The 1LT and 2LT trims get new LED running lights, while most trims get revised wheel designs. There are also some new paint colors.
The 2019 Chevrolet Spark seats four passengers. Buyers can get the Chevrolet Spark in one of four models: LS, 1LT, 2LT and Activ. All trims are powered by a 1.4-liter inline-four engine that produces 98 horses and 94 lb-ft of twist, connected to a standard five-speed manual transmission or an optional continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT). All models get front-wheel drive.
Maximum Fuel Efficiency
The fuel-efficient Chevy Spark gets an EPA-estimated 31 mpg city/38 mpg highway with the CVT.* With the manual gearbox, the Spark gets 29 mpg in the city and 39 mpg on the highway. The Activ trim returns 30 mpg city in the city and 37 mpg on the highway when equipped with the CVT, and 29 mpg in the city and 38 mpg on the highway with the manual transmission.
Peppy and Fun To Drive
Kelley Blue Book’s kbb.com gave the 2019 Chevrolet Spark high marks, writing: “If you're looking for a commuter car that is more than a rolling penalty box, you'll like the Spark. It's surprisingly peppy and fun to drive yet still offers great fuel efficiency. It also offers a surprisingly big complement of tech features.”
Standard features for the base LS include 15-inch steel wheels, air conditioning, an infotainment system with a 7-inch touchscreen, and Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Standard safety features include a rearview camera, a six-month trial subscription to OnStar Guidance (including automatic crash response and roadside assistance) and 10 airbags.

The 2LT comes with rear-park assist, heated front seats, faux-leather seats, an upgraded driver information display, chrome door handles and trim, and push-button start.
